The Utah Utes have arranged an official visit with 4-star offensive tackle recruit Jake Hildebrand, a 6-foot-6 prospect from Basha High School in Arizona, as they look to strengthen their recruiting class for 2027. Utah's coaching staff, including Morgan Scalley and offensive line coach Jordan Gross, will have the opportunity to make a strong impression on Hildebrand during his visit from June 15-17. Hildebrand, ranked as the No. 199 prospect nationally and the No. 22 offensive line prospect by 247Sports, has garnered interest from top schools such as Alabama, Indiana, and Ohio State. And with his versatility to play either guard or tackle at the collegiate level, he is a highly sought-after recruit. But Utah has a history of recruiting and developing talented offensive tackle prospects, including Spencer Fano and Caleb Lomu, who are projected to be first-round picks in the 2026 NFL Draft. So, the Utes will be looking to capitalize on this visit and secure a commitment from Hildebrand. Gross, a former All-American with the Utes, has already helped secure the highest-rated recruit in program history, Kelvin Obot, and will be key in Utah's efforts to land Hildebrand. The Utes' 2027 recruiting class currently includes three-star wide receiver prospect Kingston Parks, who verbally committed to the team in late November. Parks, the younger brother of former Utah wide receiver Money Parks, cited Kyle Whittingham as the reason he was drawn to the Utes, but with Whittingham now at Michigan, it remains to be seen whether Parks will follow through on his commitment. Utah's coaching staff will be looking to build on their recruiting momentum and make a strong impression on Hildebrand during his upcoming visit.
